To put it simply, I’m a wedding photographer because I can’t help it. Photographing weddings has become a way of life, an addiction that I have no intention of kicking the habit.

I’m a wedding photographer because I believe in the power of contemporary photography, its immediacy, its potency, its universality. I photograph weddings because that’s what I’ve spent many years teaching myself to do and it’s become what I’m best at. Nothing else brings me as much satisfaction as photographing weddings.

I can think of nothing more rewarding than photographing weddings!

I really don’t think of wedding photography as taking pictures, though, rather I think of it as capturing emotions on film – now digital. I want to forever capture the love and romance of your wedding day. I want your pictures to ignite memories and feelings that stir your soul; I want you to laugh-out-loud; I want you to smile, I want you to sigh, I want to bring a tear to your eye.

I love weddings and I love photography. I trust this is reflected in the warm and uncompromising quality of the images I capture.

Because I make my living shooting nothing but weddings, I believe in the words, “You’re only as good as your equipment”. As such I rely on the very finest camera gear available. I spare no expense on my cameras and lenses because only the finest equipment allows me to capture the feelings that fill your day. I often find myself shooting in low-light situations, like dark churches and candlelit receptions. Yet I want my brides and grooms to look as true to the actual scene as possible to preserve the mood and emotion of the moment. Only the finest gear allows me to accomplish this.

My goal is to keep my work natural-looking and organic. I like my images to look very true to what you would see with the naked eye as if you were back at the wedding.

I’ve shot so many weddings I have an intimate knowledge of how weddings flow. That puts me, and YOU, in the right spot at the right time.

I photograph everything possible prior to your ceremony - without the bride and groom seeing each other. This means that I can get you out of the church within 30 minutes or so following the ceremony.

At your reception, I work closely with you and your DJ or band to organize all of your formal events in the order and timing that YOU want. This ensures that you are in the right spot at the right time giving you one less thing to think about and more time to enjoy yourself.
